How to Check Your Name in Tamil Nadu Voters List 2025 2026?
- First of all you have to visit the official website which is www.elections.tn.gov.in orhttps://voters.eci.gov.in/download-eroll
- On the homepage, click on ‘SPECIAL INTENSIVE REVISION-2026” option.

- Now you have to click on “Draft Electoral Rolls – SIR 2026”

- After that you have to select your State, Year of Revision, District, Assembly Constituency, and Language, and then choose your voter area. After that, click on the “Download” option, as shown in the image.

How to Apply for New Voter If You have not Tamil Nadu Voter Card (EPIC Card)?
If you do not have a Tamil Nadu Voter Card (EPIC card) and want to apply for a new one, it is very easy. You must be an Indian citizen, 18 years or older (or turn 18 soon on a qualifying date like 1st January, April, July, or October), and live normally in Tamil Nadu.
The process is the same all over India, including Tamil Nadu. Use Form 6 for new registration.
Online Way (Easiest and Fastest – Recommended)
- Go to the official website: https://voters.eci.gov.in (This is the Voters’ Service Portal from Election Commission of India.)
- Sign up or log in:
- Use your mobile number to register (get OTP).
- Or log in if you already have an account.

- On the home page, find New Voter Registration or Fill Form 6 (it says: “Fill Form 6 if you are 18 years or above or you will turn 18 in few months”).

- Select your state: Tamil Nadu. Then choose your district and assembly constituency (MLA area) where you live now.
- Fill the form carefully:
- Your full name (in English and Tamil if possible).
- Father’s/Mother’s/Husband’s/Wife’s name.
- Date of birth (proof needed).
- Gender.

- Tick declaration that all info is true.

- Submit the form. You get a reference number to track.
- After submission:
- A Booth Level Officer (BLO) will visit your home to verify.
- If okay, your name adds to the voter list and you get EPIC card (voter ID) later (free).
