What I do If my name is not in Tamil Nadu 2005 Voter List?
If your name is not in the 2005 voter list (SIR 2002/2005 base roll) in Tamil Nadu, don’t worry. The Special Intensive Revision (SIR 2026) process has already published the final electoral roll on February 2026
- First, check if your name is in the final 2026 voter list Go to voters.eci.gov.in or elections.tn.gov.in. Search by your name, age, father’s/mother’s name, EPIC number (if you have one), or polling station. You can also download the PDF electoral roll for your area.
- If your name is still missing from the final list This means you were not included during the SIR process (maybe missed filling the Enumeration Form or linking to family).
- Apply for inclusion through continuous updation (this is open all year, even after final roll publication) — Fill Form 6 (for new registration or addition).
- Do it online at voters.eci.gov.in (easiest way).
- Or use the Voter Helpline App.
- Or submit offline to your Booth Level Officer (BLO) or Electoral Registration Officer (ERO).
Fill Form 6 with your details — Name, address in Tamil Nadu, date of birth, etc. Upload or attach:
- Proof of age (birth certificate, Class 10 certificate, passport, etc.).
- Proof of address/residence (Aadhaar, ration card, utility bill, passport, etc.).
